FAQ's
I’m not sure if I’m neurodivergent — can I still get support?
Absolutely.
You don’t need to identify as neurodivergent or have a formal diagnosis to benefit from ADHD-informed coaching. Many people come to coaching because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or frustrated by patterns that keep repeating — even if they’re not sure why.
Coaching focuses on what you’re experiencing and what would help, rather than on labels. If ADHD traits resonate with you, we can explore practical strategies that support how you think, plan, and manage day-to-day life — without needing certainty or a diagnosis.
If, over time, you decide you’d like to explore whether an assessment would be helpful, I can talk through the options and signpost you to appropriate diagnostic pathways. I don’t diagnose or assess for ADHD — my role is to support understanding, clarity, and practical change.
You’re welcome exactly how you are, with or without a label
What if I’m just “bad at organisation” or not trying hard enough?
This is a really common fear — and often a very unkind one.
Many people who come to coaching have spent years trying harder, using planners, pushing through, and blaming themselves when things don’t stick. Coaching isn’t about effort or willpower; it’s about finding approaches that work with how your brain functions.
Whether or not ADHD is part of the picture, you deserve support that helps you move forward without shame.
What if I don’t know what I want to work on yet?
That’s completely okay.
You don’t need clear goals before starting coaching. We can use the early sessions to explore what’s feeling hardest right now, notice patterns, and clarify what would actually make a difference for you.
Coaching often brings clarity through the process — not before it.
What if coaching doesn’t work for me?
Coaching isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, and it’s okay to be unsure.
My approach is collaborative and flexible. We regularly reflect on what’s helping and what isn’t, and adjust as we go. If it becomes clear that coaching isn’t the right fit, we can talk that through honestly.
There’s no pressure to continue if it’s not supporting you.
